CONDITIONS

1. CONDUCT OF TOURNAMENT
The Tournament will be conducted under the Rules of Tennis as approved by the International Tennis Federation and Rules and Regulations and Code of Conduct of the Hong Kong Tennis Association.
 
2. ELIGIBILITY
A. All participants are invited to become individual members of the Hong Kong Tennis Association.
B. Participants must be holders of H.K.I.D. cards or valid alternative travel document for verification purpose.
C. Events 6, 7, 8, 9 (School Boys & Girls) - players aged 18 or under born on 1st January, 1995 or after.
D. Events 10, 11 (35 or over) - participants must be born in 1978 or before.
E. Event 12 (45 or over) - participants must be born in 1968 or before.
F. Event 13 (55 or over) - participants must be born in 1958 or before.
G. Event 14 (65 or over) - participants must be born in 1948 or before.
H. Event 15 Ladies' Doubles (40 or over) - participants must be born in 1973 or before.
I. Event 16 Mixed Doubles (40 or over) - participants must be born in 1973 or before.
 
3. ENTRIES
Players must submit individual entry form or do the online enrollment (http://www.crcopen.com). Deadline for entries is on Friday, 27th September, 2013 5:00p.m.. Entries must be accompanied by the required entry fees to be paid in cash or by crossed cheque made payable to "CHINESE RECREATION CLUB, HONG KONG". Entry forms submit via internet will not be processed unless the entry fee is submitted to CRC before the entry deadline. (Internet payment is available)
       
4. TIME OF PLAY
Mondays to Fridays commencing at 7:00p.m. (Events 6-9 "School Boys & Girls" commencing at 5:00p.m.)
Saturdays, commencing at 9:00a.m. for Junior events and 2:00p.m. for all other events. Sunday commencing at 9:00a.m. for all events. Matches may be played under floodlight or indoor if required.
 
5. FORMAT OF PLAY
A. All matches in the qualifying events (except event 7 & 9) will be decided by a PRO SET. The PRO SET is won by the player/team who first wins 8 games provided there is a margin of 2 games over the opponents(s). A TIE-BREAK (7 POINT) game will be played if the score reaches 8 games all.
B. In a TIE-BREAK (7 POINT) game, the player/team first wins 7 points wins the "game" and "set" provided there is a margin of 2 points over the opponents(s). If necessary, the TIE-BREAK game shall continue until the margin is achieved.
C. All matches in the qualifying for event 7 & 9 will be decided by a PRO SET. No-Ad scoring shall be used.
D. All matches in the main draw for event 1-6 & 8 will be decided by best of 3 TIE-BREAK sets.
E. All matches in the main draw for event 7 & 9 will be decided by 2 TIE-BREAK sets and MATCH TIE-BREAK (10 POINT) in place of a third set. No-Ad scoring shall be used.
F. All matches in the main draw for event 10-16 will be decided by 2 TIE-BREAK sets and a MATCH TIE-BREAK (10 POINT) in place of a third set.
G. In a MATCH TIE-BREAK (10 POINT), the player/team who first wins 10 points shall win this MATCH TIE-BREAK and the match provided there is a margin of 2 points over the opponent(s).
 
6. POWER OF THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
The Tournament Committee reserves the right in its discretion to alter the conditions and programme of the Tournament as it deems fit and proper including but not limited to: (1) cancel any of the events if the total entry is less than 8; (2) accept or reject any application; (3) run the Tournament strictly according to schedule and no rescheduling will be allowed; (4) alter the scheduled duration of the Tournament and commence on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays morning due to bad weather or any unforeseen happenings; and (5) move the competition venue to indoor court, all announced schedule for all matches are final and cannot be altered.
 
7. REFEREE
The decision of the Tournament Supervisor, appointed by the Tournament Committee, will be final in all matters arising from matches of the Tournament.
 
8. OFFICIAL BALLS
Wilson "Australian Open" tennis balls will be used exclusively for the Tournament.
 
9. COURTS
ALL EVENTS WILL BE PLAYED ON HARDCOURT. NO PRACTICE COURTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR COMPETITORS.
 
10. RESPONSIBILITY
THE CLUB WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR PERSONAL INJURIES ARISING FROM THE TOURNAMENT
 
11. ALL PLAYERS SHALL DRESS AND PRESENT THEMSELVES FOR PLAY IN APPROPRIATE TENNIS ATTIRE
Any player who violates this section may be ordered by the referee to change his/her attire or equipment immediately. Failure of a player to comply with such order may result in immediate default.
 
12. ORDER OF PLAY
Details of the draw and schedules for the first few days of the matches will be posted in the club house and internet on Monday, 21st October 2013. Players are responsible to check their enrollments and playing schedule via online or contact the Club. ONLY the first match schedule will be sent to players by SMS. All competitors are expected to acquaint themselves with the hours at which they are to play and ready to play when their matches are called. All players not ready to play within fifteen (15) minutes after his/her match is called shall be defaulted unless the referee in his sole discretion, after considering of all relevant circumstances, elects not to declare a default.
 
13. PERSONAL DATA
The information provided by you will only be used for the enrollment of the Tournament. For correction of access to personal data after submission of this entry form or internet enrollment, please contact our Tournament Secretary at Tel.: 2577-7376.
 
14. SELECTION OF SEEDS AND LIST OF DIRECT ACCEPTANCE PLAYERS
The selection of seeds and the list of direct acceptance players will be at the discretion the Tournament Committee, however, ATP/WTA ranking, NCAA ranking, HKTA ranking and ITF junior ranking on the day of the close of entry acceptance, and past results in HKTA ranking tournaments and past professional rankings shall be used as, but not sole, basis for such selection.
 
15. WITHDRAWAL
The withdrawal form should be submitted by fax or email to the Tournament Committee if player is unable to play any matches. The form can be downloaded from the tournament website.
 
(If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.)
 
  • Players are responsible to check their enrollments and playing schedule via online or contact the Club. ONLY the first match schedule will be sent to players by SMS.
  • The Tournament Committee will run the Tournament strictly according to schedule and no rescheduling will be allowed. Player(s) who enter(s) more than ONE event must be prepared to play more than ONE match in one day.
 
 
 
參賽須知
 
1. 比賽規則
根據國際網球協會及香港網球總會所採用之規則執行。
 
2. 參賽資格
甲、 本會誠邀各參賽者成為香港網球總會會員。
乙、 參賽者必須持有香港身份證或有效之護照以備查閱。
丙、 賽事第六、七、八、九項 (學生組) - 參賽者須十八歲或以下,即1995年1月1日以後出生。
丁、 賽事第十、十一項 (35歲或以上) - 參賽者須1978年或以前出生。
戊、 賽事第十二項 (45歲或以上) - 參賽者須1968年或以前出生。
己、 賽事第十三項 (55歲或以上) - 參賽者須1958年或以前出生。
庚、 賽事第十四項 (65歲或以上) - 參賽者須1948年或以前出生。
辛、 賽事第十五項女子雙打 (40歲或以上) - 參賽者須1973年或以前出生。
壬、 賽事第十六項混合雙打 (40歲或以上) - 參賽者須1973年或以前出生。
 
3. 報名辦法
參賽者必須個別呈交報名表格或於網上報名 (http://www.crcopen.com),截止報名日期為二0一三年九月廿七日(星期五)下午五時。
報名費可用現金或劃線支票,抬頭人「香港中華游樂會」。網上報名者需在截止日期前交妥費用,有關申請才被正式接納。(本賽事設網上繳費)
 
4. 比賽時間
星期一至五:下午七時開始。(學生組賽事:下午五時開始)
星期六:學生組賽事於上午九時開始,其他賽事於下午二時開始。星期日所有賽事於上午九時開始。如有需要賽事將可能於泛光燈下或室內進行。
 
5. 賽制
甲、 外圍賽之每場賽事 (第七及九項除外) 均採用八局長盤制定勝負。八局長盤制是指對賽任何一方首先取八局,而又勝出最少兩局者勝。當局數8比8時則打7分決勝局 (TIE-BREAK, 7 POINT) ,以定勝負。
乙、7分決勝局 (TIE-BREAK, 7 POINT) 賽制為任何一方先取7分,而又勝出最少2分者勝。
丙、外圍賽中, 賽事第七及九項採用八局長盤制定勝負。每局遇4 0 平手(DEUCE)時,以1分定該局勝負。
丁、決賽週中,賽事第一至六及八項,採用三盤兩勝制,如局數遇6比6時,則以7分決勝局 (TIE-BREAK, 7 POINT) 定勝負。
戊、決賽週中,賽事第七及九項,採用三盤兩勝制,在首兩盤每局遇4 0平手(DEUCE)時,以1分定該局勝負。如局數遇6比6時,則以7分決勝局 (TIEBREAK,7 POINT) 定勝負。如首兩盤為1比1時,則以一盤10分決勝局(MATCH TIE-BREAK, 10 POINT) 定勝負。
己、決賽週中,賽事第十至十六項,採用三盤兩勝制,首兩盤如局數遇6比6時,則以7分決勝局 (TIE-BREAK, 7 POINT) 定勝負。如首兩盤為1比1時,則以一盤10分決勝局 (MATCH TIE-BREAK, 10 POINT) 定勝負。
庚、10分決勝局 (MATCH TIE-BREAK, 10 POINT) 賽制為任何一方先取10分,而又勝出最少2分者勝。
 
6. 賽委會權力
在任何情況下,賽委會有權對本比賽規則及賽程作任何修改,包括但不限於:
甲、 如上述任何一項賽事之參賽者不足八人(或八對)時,有權取消該項賽事;
乙、 有權接受或拒絕任何參賽申請;
丙、 嚴格按照賽程進行比賽,拒絕任何改期申請;
丁、 如遇天雨或其他特殊情況,有權重編賽程、延期或安排在星期六、日及公眾假期早上作賽;
戊、 有權將賽事遷移到室內網球場舉行,所有賽事一經公佈,不得更改。
      
7. 裁判
比賽時有任何糾紛,由賽事總監作最後決定。
 
8. 比賽用球
採用 Wilson "Australian Open" 網球比賽。
 
9. 球場
所有賽事在硬地網球場舉行。本賽會恕不提供球場予參賽者作練習之用。
 
10. 責任
球員如因比賽引致受傷或任何損失,本會恕不負責。
 
11. 比賽服裝
所有參賽球員必須穿著合適網球服裝作賽。如有違反而經大會裁判勸告後未有即時改善者,將被取消資格。
 
12. 比賽賽程
抽籤結果及比賽賽程將於2013年10月21日(星期一)起,在本會所內及網上陸續張貼。球員有責任透過網上查閱或向本會查詢參賽項目及賽程。只有首場賽事會以短訊形式通知各球員。各參賽者必須在規定的時間到球場報到,及當召集時準時出現,逾時15分鐘當作棄權論。唯總裁判可調節各賽事之編排及各球員之出賽權而無需事先通知。
 
13. 個人資料
你所提供的資料只用於本賽事申請之用,在遞交報名表格或網上報名後,如欲更改或查詢你申報的個人資料,可與本會賽會秘書聯絡,

14. 種子球手及直接入決賽週之球員名單
賽事委員會會選出種子球手及直入決賽週之球員名單。賽委會會參考球手在截止報名當日的 ATP/WTA 排名、NCAA 排名、香港網球總會排名、ITF 青少年排名及過去的香港網球總會排名比賽成績而作出選檡,但這排名並不是唯一的決定因素。
 
15. 退出賽事
 
如參賽者退出賽事,可於賽事網址下載退出通知書,並以電郵或傳真通知賽事委員會。

  • 球員有責任透過網上查閱或向本會查詢參賽項目及賽程。只有首場賽事會以短訊形式通知各球員。
  • 賽委會將嚴格按照賽程進行比賽,拒絕任何改期申請。參賽多於一項賽事者,應準備於同一日內進行超過多於一場比賽。
